The 16th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (hereinafter referred to as the "Conference") will be held in Shenzhen from April 14 to 15, 2018. One of the highlights of the Conference is that it has first set up branch venues, including the guest-of-honor branch in Germany, Hong Kong branch, Shenzhen Bao'an branch and Longhua branch, forming a linkage effect with the main venue.

From "introducing in" to actively "going out" for talents, the opening of the overseas branches will not only build a platform for rapid connection of talents at home and abroad, but also demonstrate China's thirst for talents with rapid development. The "two-wheel-driving" two-way mode of attracting talents has further opened China's arms to high-end talents all over the world and demonstrated the friendly image of China as a major country in the process of reform and opening up. The opening of two regional branches also provides a great opportunity to show the development of the local regions of China.

It is learned that the Conference plans to set up a guest-of-honor conference mechanism starting from 2018, with one country determined as the key display region every year. With Germany as the guest of honor, the Conference will invite German politicians and officials from the Germany Embassy in China and German Consulate General in Hong Kong, as well as German expert organizations, research institutions, institutions of higher learning, vocational training institutions, high-level talent institutions, science and technology enterprises, and a number of high-end experts and students studying in Germany to attend.

German branch

In the German branch, a number of key enterprises will be organized to connect with various organizations, institutions, colleges and universities in Germany and hold talent policy promotion and high-level personnel recruitment activities in Germany. Meanwhile, the final of the second China (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition in Germany will be held in Berlin.

Hong Kong branch

In the Hong Kong branch set up first, enterprises from Shenzhen, Pearl River Delta and other provinces and cities will be organized to take full advantage of Shenzhen's proximity to Hong Kong and hold talent recruitment activities in Hong Kong based on the need of the Conference for cooperation on excellent talents in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, providing over 3,000 high-end positions for young specialists, mainland students and foreign talents in Hong Kong and extending an invitation to graduates and professionals in Hong Kong to work in mainland. At the same time, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Talent and Intelligence Exchange and Cooperation Forum will also be held to discuss the common vision for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area talent cooperation in the new era, and attract more mainland students and professionals in Hong Kong to start a business and work in Shenzhen.

In the Shenzhen Bao'an branch and Longhua branch first set up for the Conference, it will also hold a variety of talent exchange and introduction activities, providing a more accurate talent connection platform for the local regions of Shenzhen and enriching the content of the Conference.

During the Conference, it will also host activities including the first International Talent Festival, Hundred Doctoral Talent Tour, Nobel Prize Winner Tour in Longhua, innovation and entrepreneurship competition, high-end dialogue, project docking, etc. in the Shenzhen Longhua branch. Other provinces and cities will focus on organizing high-end foreign experts and overseas talents for field visit after the Conference.
