The 16th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals officially opened on April 14. On April 13, Zhang Jianguo, Director-General of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, and his delegation attended the opening ceremony of the Bao'an Branch of the 16th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals & 2018 Bao'an International Talent Week in Bao'an Talent Park. Guests from 8 countries and all over China gathered at Bao'an International Talent Week and jointly launched activities in Bao'an Branch of the 16th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals.

Lao Zhihong, Deputy Director-General of the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province, Ai Xuefeng, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen Municipality, Sun Fujin, Director of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, Yao Ren, Secretary of Bao'an District Party Committee and other leaders attended the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, the signing results of Bao'an District for the preliminary work of talent introduction, exchange and cooperation in the Conference were displayed through video and electronic signing, and awards were given to the top three projects of the Internet of Things Professional Competition, Advanced Manufacturing Industry Competition, Internet and Mobile Internet (Information Technology) Industry Competition of the second China (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition.

It is learned that three branches in Bao'an, Longhua and Hong Kong were set up for the 16th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals. On April 14, Bao'an will set up a booth in Hall 1 of Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. It will display its economic and social development and planning, the construction of talent team, the achievements of talent and intelligence and the promotion of Bao'an Talent Park and Shiyan Lake International Academician Village with pictures, text, real object, audio and video materials. In addition, it will also publicize the policy for prior development of talent in Bao'an District and the preferential policy for settlement in Bao'an Talent Park, and carry out talent introduction negotiations. Meanwhile, the outcomes of "Bao'an Craftsman Alliance" will also be displayed in the Vocational Education and Highly-skilled Talent Pavilion. In addition, it will organize top 100 enterprises of six categories and "1000" project enterprises in the region to participate in the spring job fair for national college graduates and the Recruitment Top 100 job fair for famous enterprises to recruit talent.
