Founded in 2001 and held successfully for 17 sessions, the Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (hereinafter referred to as the “Conference”) is a large-scale and high-standard Chinese conference opened to foreign (overseas) expert organizations, training institutions and innovative talents of science and technology. It is a national, international, comprehensive and intellectual gathering of talents, technologies, projects, funds and management.
According to incomplete statistics, each session of the Conference has attracted professional organizations to participate in the exhibition from more than 40 countries and regions such as the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Ukraine, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Israel, Brazil, Argentina, and South Africa. More than 35,000 foreign (overseas) experts, overseas students and professionals have attended the conference, and a total of over 10,000 projects have been launched.
In accordance with the guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instruction on the prevention and control of the epidemic, the time and form of the 18th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (hereinafter referred to as the Conference), which was scheduled to be held in Shenzhen from April 14 to 15, 2020, is now adjusted on the basis of research. The opening ceremony of the Conference, the Shenzhen Forum and the Tour of Overseas Talents to China are postponed. We will set up an online virtual exhibition hall, and carry out online exhibition, project promotion and negotiation.
With the Conference serving as a platform, we sincerely welcome high-quality resources from all parties to strengthen the comprehensive cooperation in technological innovation and international exchange of talents, promote the building of an innovation community featuring equal cooperation and mutual benefits, and jointly share the “Chinese opportunity” of scientific progress and innovative development.
