On the morning of October 24th, Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (Peninsula Branch) &. Yantai International Technology Trade Fair are successfully held. Ma Peihua, Vice Chairman of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Yang Bailing, former Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Honorary Chairman of the China Technology Market Association, Zheng Deyan, Deputy Secretary of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Pan Jun, Deputy Director-General of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, attend the meeting and deliver speeches. Ma Peihua points out in his speech that science transcends national boundaries, while innovation knows no limits. As a province renowned for its strong focus on scientific and technological innovation and a city known for its commitment to open and innovative development, Shandong and Yantai have inherited a tradition of openness, cooperation, and mutual benefit in their pursuit of innovation. It is hoped that the entire province, including Yantai, will actively embrace the series of important statements on scientific and technological innovation made by General Secretary Xi Jinping, deeply internalize the spirit of the Central Conference on Talent-related Work, and adhere to the complementary approaches of "bringing in" and "going out", drawing on the power of the world and actively integrating into the global innovation network. With a more open mindset and approach, we should strive to deepen international scientific and technological exchange and cooperation, promote independent innovation from a higher starting point, and work hard to build a cooperative and mutually beneficial innovation framework, so that the fruits of innovation can bring benefits to more countries and peoples.

During his address, Liu Yongzhi emphasizes that the development of science and technology, being global and epoch-making in nature, necessitates a broad international outlook. China has entered a new stage of development, where technological innovation has become the fundamental pillar supporting China's pursuit of high-quality growth. The 40-plus years of reform and opening up have demonstrated that China's innovative development is inseparable from the world, and the world's technological progress increasingly needs China. China's pursuit of technological innovation has never been closed-off, but rather open and integrated with the global community. Looking forward to the future, we are willing to gather talents from all over the world and leverage strengths from all directions to build a closer circle of friends for scientific and technological innovation with more new and old friends internationally, accelerate the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, and make new contributions to the prosperity and development of the world.

In his speech, Zheng Deyan first extended a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee and Government. He states that Yantai has always attached great importance to innovation-driven development. By deeply studying and implementing the new ideas, strategies and measures for talent-related work in the new era proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, Yantai regards innovation as the first driving force and talent as the first resource, and deploys an innovation chain around the industrial chain, focusing on building a sound innovation ecosystem and striving to build a national innovation-driven city. Looking ahead to the "14th Five-Year Plan", Yantai, which is accelerating the construction of a "1+233" work system, and vigorously implementing the "marine strong city" and "dual carbon" development strategies, offers vast spaces for innovation and entrepreneurship. The conference has garnered considerable attention and robust support from foreign government agencies, research institutes, and industry associations. Distinguished experts from relevant agencies in countries including Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Japan, and South Korea have conveyed their congratulations to us through video messages. At the opening ceremony, four innovative high-tech platforms, including Shandong Institutes of Industrial Technology, Japan-China Science and Technology Innovation Center China Office, Public Security (Shandong) Big Data Research Institute, and College of Integrated Circuits, Ludong University, are officially unveiled. Additionally, 20 projects, including China-Hungary Technology Transfer Center and Huada Zhongke Advanced Polyurethane Material Joint Laboratory, are signed during the event. Furthermore, the ceremony includes the presentation of appointment letters to international technology managers in Yantai and the awards ceremony for the finals of the second "Bright Stone Cup" Micro/Nano Sensor Technology and Intelligent Application Contest.

This conference is jointly organized by China Association for International Exchange of Personnel, Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province, and the People's Government of Yantai.
