The 14th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP) was successfully held in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province from April 16 to 17, 2016. According to statistics, this conference attracted a total of 80,000 visitors and negotiators, and was attended by more than 4,500 professional organizations, training institutions, colleges and universities, talent agencies and high-tech enterprises from 73 countries and regions, more than 5,500 overseas representatives, and more than 6,500 professional representatives from organizations, human resources, foreign expert systems and enterprises in provinces and cities in China. More than 2,400 cooperation intentions for talent introduction projects were reached between provinces and cities and professional organizations, training institutions and overseas students, and more than 1,850 cooperation agreements for talent introduction were signed with overseas expert organizations.
This conference had 7 job fairs, including the Job Fair for Fresh College Graduates, the Job Fairs for Foreign Professionals, the Job Fair for Returnees, the “Internet +” Job Fair & Network Job Fair, the IT Job Fair, the “Elite World” Job Fair, the Job Fair for Staff of Public Institutions. These job fairs attracted a total of 925 well-known enterprises, provided about 35,000 jobs, and attended by about 50,000 applicants, including more than 11,000 applicants with master’s degrees or above.
In terms of foreign expert organizations, more than 150 representative economic and technological expert organizations, science, technology, culture and health expert organizations, training channels overseas (from outside Chinese Mainland) were invited to bring their expert information to domestic institutions for cooperation negotiations.
At the Exhibition Area for Hong Kong and Taiwan Institutions, the Taiwan delegation composed of 20 institutions, including Taiwan 1111 Bank, 104 Job Bank, Chinese Association of Finance Professionals and Investors, Chinese Association of Small and Medium Enterprise Leaders and Alliance of Asia-Pacific Business Associations, and the Hong Kong delegation comprising more than 60 organizations, including the Beijing-Hong Kong Talent Exchange Center, Hong Kong-China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association, Hong Kong Mainland Students Association, VTC, Hong Kong Financial Services Institute and Hong Kong Science Park, set up showrooms here.
