An international talent forum themed with “Economic Globalization and Talent Internationalization” was held on December 1, one of the highlights of the CIEP 2007 focusing on “internationalization”. Scholars and HR professionals from home and abroad gathered together to share exciting points of view and discuss how to improve the internationalization level of Chinese professionals and cope with competition from around the world facing the new situation.
It is understood that CIEP Forum is an activity held together with CIEP 2007 to comprehensively promote the brand and improve the level of the conference, and further enrich its content. It aims to explore the role and effectiveness of HR development in promoting international economy, facilitate the internationalization of talents and intellectual capital, and push forward international communication and cooperation.
The Vice-minister of the Ministry of Education Zhang Xinsheng, the former Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Li Zhaoxing, the CEO of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Steve Miranda, renowned economists Fan Gang and Wen Yuankai, the President Emeritus of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Chia-Wei Woo, and the Dean of Nanjing University Business School and renowned HR expert Zhao Shuming delivered speeches. Moreover, among the attendees were Senior HR Manager of Global 500-ranked Microsoft China Li Ya, CEO of Ping An Life Insurance Wang Liping, CEO of HC360.com Guo Fansheng, and CEO of 51job.com Zhen Ronghui etc. Focusing on talent highland and economic globalization tendency, current supply and demand status and prospect forecast of international professionals, training of local professionals for international competition, opportunities for talents in international cooperation, and management experience of outstanding foreign enterprises etc., the Forum analyzed and explained the key links in the cultivation, mobility and use of international talents, the newest trend of international talent education and training, and the newest trend of human capital development and HR management.
